These terms are the agreement between you and CuraGift. They explain what the service does, what we ask of you in return, and where the limits of our responsibility lie. By using CuraGift you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service. How we handle your data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
1. What CuraGift Is
- •CuraGift is a free tool that suggests gift ideas. You tell us about the recipient, the occasion and your budget, and we produce a written strategy, a set of gift ideas and a downloadable plan.
- •We do not sell, stock, ship or fulfil anything. There is no basket, no checkout and no order on this site.
- •Where a suggestion matches a specific product, we may link to its product page on a separate shop. That link is a pointer, not an offer from us.
- •The service is free. We do not ask for payment details and we never receive them.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- •You must be at least 16 years old to use CuraGift. The service is not directed at children.
- •You can use most of the site without an account. An account is only needed to save recommendations, keep a wishlist, or receive reminders.
- •Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- •Give accurate information when you sign up, and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
- •We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and where it is practical we will tell you why.
3. Acceptable Use
- •Use CuraGift for your own gift planning, or for helping someone else plan a gift.
- •Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, bypass our rate limits, or use automated requests to extract the recommendation output at scale.
- •Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, jailbreak or extract the instructions behind the AI, or use the service to generate unlawful, harassing or deceptive content.
- •Do not resell the service, present its output as your own product, or build a competing dataset from it.
- •Do not use the reminder feature to send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.
4. AI-Generated Content
- •Recommendations are produced by a third-party AI model and are suggestions, not statements of fact.
- •They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Product names, prices and availability come from a shop’s own product feed and change without notice, so always check the product page before you buy.
- •Nothing here is professional advice — not legal, financial, medical or psychological — and the recipient insight is a writing aid, not an assessment of a real person.
- •You decide what to buy. A recommendation is not a guarantee that a gift will be well received.
5. Links to Other Sites and Purchases
- •Some recommendations link to product pages on a shop we do not control.
- •If you buy something, the transaction is between you and that shop. Their terms and their privacy policy apply, and we are not a party to it.
- •We do not process the payment and we never receive your card details or delivery address.
- •We cannot resolve a problem with an order placed elsewhere — returns, refunds, delivery and quality are handled by the shop you bought from.
6. Your Content
- •You keep ownership of what you enter: your notes about a recipient, your occasions, your wishlist items.
- •You give us permission to store and process that content for the purpose of running the service — producing recommendations, saving them for you, and sending the reminders you asked for.
- •You confirm that you are entitled to share the details you enter about other people. Please only record what you need, and be considerate about what you write down.
- •Do not enter payment card numbers, government identifiers, health information or anything else that does not belong in a gift plan.
7. Email We Send
- •Occasion reminders are opt-in per recipient. You choose who gets them, and every reminder email carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click.
- •Account emails — password resets and wishlist notifications — are part of the service and are sent as needed.
- •How we handle email addresses and other personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
- •The CuraGift name, logo, site design, written content and code belong to us.
- •The recommendations generated for you are yours to use for your own gift planning, including sharing or printing your plan.
- •You may not copy the site, its branding or its content to present them as your own.
9. Availability and Changes to the Service
- •CuraGift is provided free of charge and on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- •We may add, change or withdraw features at any time. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice on the site so you can export anything you want to keep.
- •Recommendations depend on third-party services. If one of them is unavailable, you may see template-based suggestions instead of AI-generated ones.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
- •The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- •We do not warrant that recommendations are accurate, complete, suitable for a particular recipient, or that a suggestion will be available to buy.
- •You use the service and act on its output at your own discretion.
11. Limitation of Liability
- •To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, opportunities or goodwill.
- •Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. The service is free, so that amount is nil.
- •Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- •Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
- •If a third party brings a claim against us because of how you used the service — for example content you entered, or a message you sent to someone — you agree to cover the resulting costs and losses.
- •We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in defending it.
13. Ending This Agreement
- •You can stop using CuraGift at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account.
- •We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law.
- •Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and indemnity — continue to apply after the agreement ends.
14. Changes to These Terms
- •We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page will always show the current version.
- •If a change is material we will make that clear on the site. Continuing to use CuraGift after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
- •These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, and disputes will be heard by the courts of Shenzhen, Guangdong.
- •Before starting formal proceedings, please write to us first — most issues are easier to resolve by email.
- •If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes protections you are entitled to under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
